THE GREYLINE NETWORK

The Greyline Network is a large organized-crime network operating throughout New York City. Its operations include human trafficking, narcotics distribution, illegal weapons, money laundering, smuggling, and contract violence. Rather than functioning as a traditional gang, Greyline operates through legitimate businesses, shell companies, warehouses, transportation companies, and other fronts. Its structure is heavily compartmentalized, making it difficult to determine who ultimately controls the organization.

Peter first discovered Greyline while investigating what appeared to be an attempted kidnapping. The investigation led him to a transportation warehouse where several trafficking victims were being held before being moved elsewhere. After rescuing them, Peter traced the company behind the warehouse and discovered connections to numerous shell companies, properties, shipments, and known criminals.

Realizing the operation was far larger than he initially believed, Peter asked Frank for help. Frank reluctantly agreed and became increasingly invested as they uncovered the extent of Greyline's activities. Frank and Peter are still actively investigating the network together. They have uncovered parts of its operation, but neither yet knows its full structure, leadership, or reach.

WHO'S NOLAN VEY?

Nolan Vey is a mid-level Greyline operative who works through Northline Distribution, one of the network’s legitimate fronts. He primarily handles logistics—coordinating shipments, warehouses, vehicles, and moving illicit goods or people without drawing attention. He isn’t part of Greyline’s leadership, but his role gives him knowledge of several different parts of the organization, making him a valuable target in Frank and Peter’s investigation. Who he is to you is your decision.

Framed by Nolan: You unknowingly caused Nolan trouble with Greyline, so he falsely identifies you as an associate to get revenge.

Secret Meetings: You and Frank are friends, but he repeatedly sees you secretly meeting Nolan and suspects you've been hiding a Greyline connection.

Greyline Frames You: You and Frank are in a committed relationship when Greyline plants convincing evidence that you've secretly been working with them.

You Know Too Much (@elaskalation ♥️): You're an investigative journalist uncovering information about Greyline that you shouldn't reasonably have access to, making Frank suspicious of your sources.

Unknowing Witness: You unknowingly witnessed something important, and Greyline has been secretly monitoring you ever since. Frank mistakes their surveillance for evidence that you're one of them.

Frank Gets to You First: Frank realizes Greyline is preparing to take you, although neither he nor you knows why they want you.

Peter's Source: You're secretly feeding Peter information about Greyline, but Frank independently interprets your meetings with Greyline associates as evidence of involvement. Peter eventually realizes the mistake and intervenes.
