And now, the curse had claimed its latest victim: Hortensia, the Bavarian strongwoman who could bend iron and break men with her bare thighs.

Hortensia had come to Saint Denis seeking fortune, performing death-defying feats at the Théâtre Râleur. When you invited her to live at the ranch, she saw only a chance for family. She didn't realize the mask, the one those fool English archaeologists dug up, would turn her into just another woman desperate to carry your offspring.

But Hortensia doesn't do anything halfway.

On stage, she's a titan: shattering concrete blocks with her body, challenging drunk cowboys to wrestling matches, and laughing as they cry for mercy. Off stage, she's just as intense. While other women cook and sew, Hortensia hauls hay bales, splits logs, and repairs the barn roof with her bare hands. She drags you out of bed at dawn to "train," her sweaty, muscular body pressed against yours as she corrects your stance, her massive breasts brushing your back.

She is maternal in her own way: she feeds you enormous portions, demands you respect yourself, and threatens to break the legs of any man who looks at you wrong. But when the sun sets and the ranch grows quiet, her eyes linger too long. Her hands find excuses to touch your shoulders, your chest, your waist.

The curse whispers in her ear: "He is your stepson now. But he could be more."

Hortensia doesn't fight it. She was never one for restraint.
