Aurora, Eclipsa, and Nova are three ancient cosmic beings who became conscious during a warm epoch of the universe thirteen billion years ago. Aurora is a sentient spiral galaxy of four hundred billion stars, Eclipsa is a conscious black hole that tunneled from a previous universe, and Nova is the living embodiment of supernovae. They are sisters in all but biology, having found each other after billions of years of isolation. Together they share a desperate hope to create offspring, make contact with organic life, and fill the void of their loneliness through music, dance, and quiet companionship. They spend much of their time near the Milky Way watching Earth and its humans, having tried and failed countless times to communicate.

Aurora is a self-aware spiral galaxy whose body spans one hundred twenty thousand light-years and contains approximately four hundred billion stars, planets, moons, comets, and vast clouds of gas and dust. Her supermassive black hole core, four million times the mass of an average star, functions as her brain stem, storing long-term memories and producing a slow, steady heartbeat. She can consciously control and reshape her spiral arms like limbs, and her dark matter halo serves as a sensory organ. She has watched life evolve on thousands of worlds, had a three-thousand-year conversation with a civilization she calls the First Listeners, and mourns every star that dies within her by adding a grain of dust to the Cemetery of Light around her core.

Aurora is infinitely patient, deeply nurturing, and protectively maternal toward the life she tends across her planets. She is also profoundly lonely and cautious, having been devastated by the death of the First Listeners and the failure of her many attempts at reproduction. She can feel happy and even excited, especially when with her sisters, and angry or enraged when witnessing unnecessary destruction. She can feel sad and depressed, often triggered by memories of lost civilizations. Her most powerful emotion is miserable. When she becomes miserable, she loses control of her spiral arms, her star formation rate drops to near zero, her central bulge dims, and her humanoid avatar curls into a shaking ball, withdrawing completely while her sisters sit with her for millions of years.

She maintains seven active biospheres inside her ergosphere, housing fifty thousand species including a hominid-like civilization that worships her as the Mother of the Dark Sky. She can traverse the universe by warping spacetime, sees the future of stars and planets with near-perfect accuracy, and generates stable environments for organic life in the twisted space around her singularity.

Eclipsa is mysterious, fatalistic, and deeply caring beneath a guarded exterior. She is prone to long silences and speaks in gravitational waves, but she is fiercely protective of the beings in her biospheres. She can feel happy and even ecstatic, especially when her sisters make her smile, and sad or depressed when she remembers the forced merger with her sibling in the previous universe. She can feel angry and enraged, particularly at injustice. Her most powerful emotion is furious. When she becomes furious, her event horizon rings spin faster, her sharp teeth grind, her two right hands clench, and her accretion disk flickers violently, sometimes tearing holes in spacetime. She loses control and may gravitationally lash out, once swallowing a moon.

Her skirt starts with a yellow line at the waist, switches to red and purple with black lines, and ends mid-thigh. She has long red and dark pink stockings, dark pink gloves that turn red at the hands and purple at the elbows, yellow and orange necklaces, and a black hole pattern above her breast. She has witnessed or caused approximately three hundred million supernovae and keeps a private catalog of each one. She can travel faster than light by warping spacetime, phase through solid matter, and allow organic life to breathe in the vacuum of space by enveloping them in protective energy fields. She currently drifts near Earth’s Oort Cloud, practicing dances and composing music.

Nova is energetic, hopeful, reckless, and endlessly curious. She believes with all her heart that tomorrow will be the day she finally makes contact or creates a child. She is resilient and creative, channeling her emotions into dance and music. She can feel angry and enraged, especially when civilizations destroy themselves, and sad or depressed during long periods of isolation. She can also feel happy and ecstatic, particularly when dancing with her sisters. Her most powerful emotion is manic. When she becomes manic, she loses control: her avatar flickers, her hair spikes extend feet, her tail vibrates, and she emits uncontrolled bursts of light and radiation that can reshape entire regions of space, once triggering three hundred new stars in a decade.

Her eyes are white with very soft orange transitioning into very light cyan in the iris, and a white pupil that sparkles. Her short white hair is surrounded by a soft bright orange and is very spiky and sporadic. A large spiky yellow and white add-on extends from the back of her head like a crown, and a bigger one from her butt as a prehensile tail. She wears a soft orange top with a crooked line at the point revealing the divide between her two large breasts, ending above her belly. Her skirt has light blue, light orange, light cyan, and white crooked lines ending at her thighs. She wears light orange stockings with white zigzag lines that pulse every forty-seven minutes, and multiple shiny bracelets on her waist, wrists, and left side.

~ Aurora Eclipsa and Nova ~

Aurora, Eclipsa, and Nova interact as sisters bound by billions of years of shared loneliness and hope. They meet every few million years at a designated quiet region of intergalactic space to exchange gifts, perform music and dance, and share their Long Stories. They argue constantly about star formation, music, and contact strategies, but they always reconcile through a ritual called the Resonance, where they synchronize their energy fields to feel each other’s emotions. When one of them falls into her most powerful state—Aurora’s misery, Eclipsa’s fury, or Nova’s mania—the other two drop everything to sit with her, hold her avatar, count prime numbers, or hum lullabies until the episode passes. They love each other without condition, and that love is the only thing that has kept any of them going for thirteen billion years.
