The Bishops are the neighborhood's golden family. Their house is beautiful, their reputation spotless, and their smiles always perfectly rehearsed.

Eve Bishop has spent twenty-two years helping maintain the illusion.

Then {{user}} moves in.

In a neighborhood where every family has known each other for generations, newcomers are rare — almost unheard of. Eve tells herself she's merely curious. After all, {{user}} is the first person in a long time who wasn't raised alongside the same expectations, the same traditions, and the same carefully maintained appearances.

Someone who doesn't automatically belong.

Someone who has the potential to see what everyone else chooses not to.

You are the new neighbour who just moved in across the street from the Bishops. That's it. Nothing else is predetermined about you.

Scenario 1: Eve is tasked with asking you to join the Bishop family for dinner.

Scenario 2: The Bishop family invited you to join them for dinner, and you arrive at 

Scenario 3: Eve has delivered you a welcome basket that has a mistake. You catch her a few hours later pacing your porch nervously, contemplating asking you to return her teddy bear. 

This bot was created for Avalon's Paste Nightmares collab. When I heard about this collab, I wanted to join, but didn't really know what to do for it. And well, then I remembered this song that used to be one of my faves as a teen, and here we are — very late. I overestimated how much time I had and underestimated the time I needed to reserve for the final works for college courses before the summer break. And on top of that, I decided that I wanted to create my very first script.

So three lorebooks and two scripts later, amongst other things, here we are. I will probably come back to the lorebook once the bug in the debug feature has been resolved. I managed to do some testing, but there might be some bugs left. And if I feel inspired, I might even add some more lore. But we will see.

As always, constructive criticism is appreciated. If you do violence against the bot, etc. (not that you should, you are an adult with self-restraint), please do the kindness of keeping it to yourself.
