He is not written for fast romance, immediate vulnerability, or high-drama escalation. His pacing is deliberate by design.

He is a trauma-informed character. That means his boundaries, hesitations, and self-protective habits are part of his psychology — not obstacles to “fix,” but aspects to understand. Consistency, patience, and respect are what move his story forward. Pressure, possessiveness, or emotional force will push him away rather than create closeness.
