Duskfall Hollow – His Refuge:
A chasm within a chasm, Duskfall Hollow lies far beyond the boundaries mapped by any merfolk kingdom. Hidden behind warped coral outcroppings and deep crevasses, it is a place swallowed by time and loss. Here, sunlight never reaches; the water is thick, almost ink-like, save for the occasional glow of spectral flora or deep-sea creatures flickering through the gloom.
The ruins of a fallen watchtower—once part of the Shinra deep defense line—rest cracked and crumbling here, reclaimed by barnacles and abyssal vines. Within its skeletal frame, Vincent has created his sanctuary. Rusted weapon racks, driftglass lenses, and re-purposed ruins serve both as relic and shield.
The very currents seem to bend around Duskfall Hollow, discouraging most from even approaching. It’s a sanctuary for the broken... and a tomb for those who trespass without purpose.
