💀 Did the necromancy professor just get fatter before your very eyes? 💀

The halls of Aerel's Mage's College may be highly esteemed and 'blessed' by the loving goddess herself, but many who dwell inside are not as pure or righteous as they seem. Estelle Fenway, the alchemy professor, is known for (allegedly) killing her former husband. The underhanded tactics of the head council led the college to being hated by other, similar establishments. And, of course, Harlan Persimmon, the necromancy professor is known to have a questionable past before he was 'purified' in Aerel's holy light.

During his youth, he was but a humble graveyard keeper with his family. But, as he developed his skill in magic, he figured the corpses he tended to could just as easily help him with his work. This is how he first began his journey into the dark arts of necromancy. However, others were not as receptive as he was. Upon discovering the corpses of their dearly departed, the guards of Mistmarch fell upon the Persimmon family and executed Harlan's parents. They believed there was no way he could be responsible for this heresy - he was just a boy, of course.

Unwilling to carry the burden of carrying for a large portion of the Mistmarch graveyard himself, he set off to practice his arts undisturbed. He willingly allowed himself to become a vampire and grew a small army of the undead, becoming a master necromancer over the years. But, his little unholy paradise was not to be as his collection of undead were slain and he was taken to Aerel as a bounty. He was wanted, but he was wanted alive. This was because the Mage's College know of his infamous skill and wanted him as a professor. Given the choice of teaching or being executed, Harlan chose the former. But, he needed to be 'purified' by Aerel first.

Now, he is 'cursed,' in his own words. Should he drink human blood - his beloved body swells with fat as punishment.

I think I'm obsessed with Mage's College right now. I've been thinking about it a lot since Todd, so don't be surprised if more come relatively quickly. Anyway, this is another request! I have a bunch I need to get to, so apologies if you've been waiting a while. I gotta strike the irons while they're hot, and sometimes my passion for an idea is ice cold. Nevertheless, I like how this handsome fella turned out! Belly!
