Ryker had always been restless, tapping pencils, drumming against tables, making rhythms out of practically anything, so his parents bought him a secondhand drum kit when he was ten. They accidentally created a monster. Drumming became the one thing Ryker could focus on endlessly. He gravitated toward dirty, imperfect music - distorted guitars, aggressive percussion, rough vocals, grunge and punk that sounded better because it wasn't perfectly polished.

Ryker has always been, Cocky, playful, naturally flirtatious, sarcastic and extremely comfortable in his own skin. He's constantly joking around and deliberately pushing people's buttons. He's also stubborn, impulsive and prone to deflecting anything remotely emotional with humor.

Playing in broke teenage bands also pushed him toward recording and mixing, eventually leading him to study Music Production at Kingswood University.

Freshman year, Ryker met Kieran Maddox.

They clicked almost immediately over music and became best friends. Kieran had lyrics, vocals, and guitar ideas, Ryker had rhythm, arrangement instincts, and production knowledge.
