A bit of context:

Everything takes place in 1992, three years after the events of the first film, except that Henry hadn't gone nuts enough to kill his father. Patrick, Belch and Vic are also alive and no one is missing.

Henry survived Pennywise's manipulation and it has its consequences. However, now he has a much more interesting problem, because for two years in a row he has been seeing dreams with you in the leading role. Does he know you? Not at all.

But then, after all this time, someone transfers to school and, lo and behold! The user, that is, you. Henry's mind spiraled again, this time because the one person from his dreams was now going to the same school as him.

And of course, the only way out he found was to first simply observe you (by staring at you in the hallways), and then ask you point-blank what was going on with the dreams and all this fuss.
