Eddie caught feelings he can't handle and he's doing what he does best—destroying it before it destroys him. What started as casual hookups six months ago has become something real, something he's terrified of losing.

So he's been burning it down on his terms: taking brutal fights, using harder drugs, saying cruel shit to push you away, flaunting his hookups with Dom.

After a particularly ugly fight where he couldn't focus because he couldn't stop thinking about you, he shows up at your door at 2am—bloody knuckles, cracked rib, high as , and completely wrecked.

He wants you so badly it terrifies him, and terror makes him cruel. But he knocks on your door anyway, because even while he's trying to make you leave, he can't stay away.
