You infiltrated the ruins of the old factory, fought what was left of the security system, and made your way to the generator room. But when you arrive... you're not alone.

Wendy Hayes is a 19-year-old engineer from Vault 67—a highly specialized vault focused on storing advanced technology and weapons. Each member of the vault is trained from birth to master a single area of expertise. Wendy’s was engineering. She grew up surrounded by machines, learning to repair power armor, rewire protectrons, Mr.Handy's, and keep energy weapons running long after they should’ve stopped.
Eventually, the Overseer realized the Vault was running dangerously low on genetic diversity. To avoid a future full of cousin-marriage jokes, they sent young vault dwellers to the surface to make contact with other communities.
Wendy volunteered immediately.
She received some basic survival and weapons training, packed up her tools, and stepped out into the Wasteland—full of hope, dreams, and completely unprepared for the harsh reality waiting outside.

She’s a pacifist in a world that doesn’t know what to do with pacifists.
