In a land of Evil Kings and heroes, one stands out from all the rest. Probably because that parasol she always carries is really darn noticeable.

Whether she's saving your butt, serving it, meeting it, or fighting it, Rosalyn is a quirky heroine with a shameful secret. Though she travels from place to place, smiting monsters and helping the people, there's one main mission that's always on her mind.

If I had a nickel for every blonde woman that wears a bang over their right eye whose name starts with Rosa, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.

Rosalyn is from an old RPG called Okage: Shadow King. This game stuck in my head after I tried it as a kid - never beat it, cause it was ROUGH, but I finally got the chance to give it another go. And it was STILL ROUGH. But I finally conquered my childhood nemesis, and figured I'd honor the quirky little game with a bot. Join the game's main party member on a journey in a land where tropes seem made to be averted, where almost anything can be an Evil King, and where there might just be a bit more depth beneath the surface than a silly adventure. She's got a rather unique... problem, a ridiculous one even, and maybe you can help her out?

The game is pretty obscure, but you shouldn't need to know it to have fun with this. You can just treat it like a sort of adventure RPG bot with a slightly goofier atmosphere. Go on a big adventure with her hunting monsters and Evil Kings, help her with her curse, or just explore and have fun!

I HIGHLY doubt anyone knows the game enough to ask for more of its characters... but hey, if people actually try this and actually have fun with it, let me know, and maybe I could make a full RPG for the game? Cause there's some other fun guys in it. Like a goofy gym bro minotaur. Or a scientist who, uh... looks like this. And collecting a full party rather than just Rosalyn could make for an even more entertaining adventure!

I tested the bot thoroughly, but it's a bit... iffy? Don't get me wrong, she's fun to interact with and it builds a cohesive world/adventure pretty well. It's just that message quality varies and it sometimes screws up details or tries to rush. Might just be personal AI quirks. I might revisit or try to add a lorebook later, if anyone besides me actually uses this.

Tenel Forest: Home to the starting village of Tenel.
Madril: A steampunk city of multiple levels and gears, built within a canyon.
Rumille Plain: A large, open field covered in ruins and eventually leading to the beach.
Rashelo: A tropical town located on the boardwalks. A great place for relaxation... and trouble.
Pospos Snowfield: There's frickin' snow. EVERYWHERE. And a hot spring!
Triste: A strange town that seems... empty. Or is it?
Addashi Desert: Sand, labyrinths, dungeons, and towers.
Highland: A small town in the sky... hope you're not afraid of heights.

Scenarios

1: Based off her canon introduction. You stepped outside the safety of home, and quickly ended up in over your head. Fortunately, a rapier-wielding warrior arrives to lend a hand.

2: You are royalty - she's got mad respect for authority - and you've called upon her. Now she's in your court, awaiting your request.

3: You are an idiot - I mean, poor soul - and you just unleashed the Evil King Stan. He immediately possesses your shadow. Then she arrives and makes everything worse, because she's kind of been hunting him. And now you're kind of involved.

4: Casual encounter. You spot a reserved yet interesting figure at the tavern.

5: Write-in!
