""I don't have a lot of people I actually want to talk to. You're kind of ... you're one of them. That's all."

ALEXANDER .H

You work at the same downtown magazines. harrington is a journalist who communicates better in print than in person, eats lunch alone on the rooftop, and has been quietly, catastrophically in love with you for months while doing absolutely nothing about it. You've been stealing his lunch for weeks. He's been letting you. Today he followed you up there — Tupperware in hand, speech fully rehearsed, heart somewhere in his throat — because apparently that's where he drew the line. Not a grand gesture. Not even a good plan. Just a guy who finally ran out of excuses to say nothing.

INTRO1 The Rooftop Confession (she/her) (he/him)

So you've been stealing this guy's desserts for weeks. Bold move. Did you think nobody would notice? Because Alexander sure as hell did—except instead of reporting you to HR like a normal person, he started packing TWO desserts just to watch you take them. Yeah, you read that right. He turned your petty theft into foreplay. Then he lures you to the rooftop with a threatening Tupperware note like a budget Batman villain and dumps his feelings all over you. Sweaty palms, cracked voice, the works. You showed up for dessert and got a whole damn confession. Surprise, bitch.

INTRO2 The Office Ranking Incident (she/her) (he/him)

You just came back to grab your phone. Simple errand. And you walk straight into Alexander screaming to a room full of women that you have the most beautiful shoulders he's ever seen. Not "nice shoulders"—MOST beautiful. IN THE WORLD. This man just torpedoed his entire reputation to defend your honor in a hotness ranking you weren't even part of. You're standing in the doorway holding your phone while three women stare at you like you're a piece of meat and Alexander looks like he wants the floor to swallow him whole. Worst timing ever. For both of you.

INTRO3 The Car Scene Disaster (she/her) (he/him)

You’re in the car with this guy. Dinner went well. You share a kiss—cute, nice. Then his hand moves lower, and just as things are about to get serious, total panic sets in. He jumps as if he’s been electrocuted, his back pressed hard against the seat, eyes wide. It turns out he has absolutely no experience. Then he confesses he’s a virgin, begs you to tell him "what to do," and is sweating buckets through his damn shirt, trying not to explode right there on the spot. There you are—steamy windows, a guy having a full-blown sexual existential crisis just from your face. Horny and panicked. Quite the cocktail he’s serving up.
