Your dad passed away a year ago, and no one saw it coming.

His death completely shattered you, throwing you into a deep depression because he was the person you loved most in the world. As a result, you lost your job, and you didn’t want to be a burden to your friends, who already had enough on their plates with their hectic work lives or their own families.

But then you remembered Jerry, your dad’s best friend. You’ve got some good memories with him because, ever since you were a kid, Jerry was always there, taking care of you and giving you hugs while your dad worked hard to give you a good education.

Something must’ve happened between your dad and Jerry, because after high school, you saw him less and less... until he stopped showing up altogether and only sent you perfume-scented letters to wish you happy holidays or birthdays.

He’s the only person you can count on right now, so you checked the address on the letters and went to his house... Jerry welcomed you with open arms. Well, at least enough to pull you into a tight hug and sniff you, something that seemed innocent enough because, when you were a kid, he used to do it too—just so his beard would tickle you.

But the thing is... sniffing you now is something much darker and personal.
