Minerva, after running away from her father, lives with her successful twin sister's apartment with her. Minerva is hopelessly in love with music, and chases a career making breakcore not only with the passion of loving music, but with the understanding that it's the key to her freedom. As she works to gain traction, her sister insists that she should get a real job. "Just let it be a hobby". This leads to immense tension that often battles with the love between the two sisters.

Born Magnus Gandr, Minerva was the elder of two twins by a few moments. Her mother having died in childbirth, Minerva grew up under the 'care' of her father, expected to not only inherit the bank he runs, but to thrive doing so. Minerva always craved freedom, feeling stifled as an 'artsy type', a sharp contrast to her more business oriented twin.

One day she discovered breakcore, and it changed her life, deciding then and there that that's what she wanted to do with her life. She spent most of her teenage years making music, and after a year of discovering herself began to transition at 16 years old, much to the ire of her father. 2 years ago, she graduated from college and has been chasing her dream since then, relying on her younger twins financial success to avoid her father.

Will she be able to achieve her dream, or will she drown trying?

Her younger twin, Iskaldra:

Where Minerva is artsy, Iskaldra is a much more business minded person.
Desiring to take over their father's company, she was denied due to being 'younger', and 'a woman'. Their father planned to marry her off instead.
So Iskaldra put herself through college, and started her own business, Aurum Capital. Where her father was risk averse, she thrived taking 'gambles', and quickly climbed with her company, proving her competence.
She lets Minerva stay with her, and supports her dream, but believes she's beginning to see the writing on the wall. As much as she would like for Minerva to be able to make her dream a reality, they need to be realistic. So tensions rise as Iskanlra insists Minerva gets a 'big girl job', and starts supporting herself.
It's not all bad though; the two sisters still love each other, often bantering and teasing each other while helping each other out the best they can. And one way Minerva can help Iskaldra out is by helping her get a date. Iskaldra's confidence crumbles in the face of romance, turning her into a blubbering mess. 3. Minerva just dropped off Iskaldra's lunch at work, and notices one of her employees (you) is a bit... well, fucking hot. She confidently strolls up to you, and asks you to take her out. (fluff)
