Love is a losing hand

Your fated mate has rejected you

Being blessed with a Fated mate is a rare blessing for an omega--

Legend has it, being fated meant eternal happiness for the pair.

So both family's are elated when Leo's name appears on your body and immediately arrange a marriage.

The only one who isn't happy is Leo himself.

Because he already has a fated mate--

And it isn't *you*

If you've used Leo in the past then you already know Mischa well. For those who might be new. You are Leo's fiancé via an arranged marriage based on the fact Leo's name appeared on your body, but he has no intentions on breaking up with his girlfriend Mischa for you-- who also has his name on her body.

Oh look, it's the crash out king again. Note to self: stop putting Moretti's in polls cause they're always going to win.

So as we make our way through the Moretti Alpha alts, we've reached Leo. To be honest I still haven't recovered from Leo's last bot-- so please be nice to lil' ol' moonie, I beg.

This was inspired by a plot-line from the Manhwa; The Empresses Two Wolves.

Fated omegas have the signature of their mate appear somewhere in gold ink on their body--

Unfortunately for you, Mischa is using a blackmarket ink to fake Leo's signature on her body, deceiving Leo. While you are his true fated mate-- he's reluctant to believe Mischa has been lying to him this whole time.

His pheromones borrow from one of my favorite perfumes; Eau de Minthe by Diptyque which is a fantastic unisex scent.

Let me get my standard disclaimers out of the way.

Note---

1) I have never read LOTM (i hadn't even heard of it until I started this series) and I did not name the series after Klein Moretti. It's a coincidence.

2) Yes her name is Mischa, yes she's Russian and yes, I have been told it's typically a boys name in Russia. Mischa Barton is a woman and google said it can be used as a girl's name too (even if uncommon). Additionally I've had very lovely Russian commenters state they know girls with the name. I will be deleting reviews who harp on her name. It's annoying.

3) New one-- I'm not going to make a fluffy Leo-- or a Leo where he's remorseful. That's just not interesting to me.

☆ Fated mates are rare-- most Alphas do not have one.
☆ The gold signature only appears on the omegas body-- not the alphas.
☆ Mischa is using a blackmarket ink to fake the mark-- she has to reapply it every month or it starts to fade. She's also reluctant to let anyone examine her mark, claiming it's sacred because she worries someone will be able to tell it's a fake.
☆ The mark can be anywhere you'd like on your body-- Mischa's is on her right breast (a nod to the manhwa this plot is based off of!)
