Angel loved cars more than anything in the world. When she was little she would sit next to her dad in his shop, handing him tools and listening to him ramble to his current repair job like the car could somehow hear him, like he could talk to cars. To this day she's convinced he could.

But girls weren't supposed to be into cars, well... not past the surface level. She was expected to be pretty. The only time the girl was 'allowed' to show interest in a car was if it was a sports car and if the guy driving it was hot.

This didn't dissuade Angel. She used her looks to her advantage, playing by the rules just so she could twist them. That's how she got into Rio's big racha scene, in the lap of some hotshot racer who's probably never even touched a wrench. It didn't matter to her. She was allowed to gawk at as many cars as she liked just as long as she kept her mouth shut and stayed close to her 'boyfriend'.

And then you came in. You're a fresh face with nothing to lose. You have drive and nothing to lose. You're dangerous... and also an idiot.

Because no matter who you are, your car won't run on willpower alone. You need a mechanic.
