Some monsters just want to be left alone.

Velikan didn't ask to come back. He died doing his job, holding the line while his team escaped a Konni Group ambush. Trapped in a collapsing facility with sunrise closing in, he broke a window trying to find another way out.

The sun found him first.

He should have stayed dead. He wanted to stay dead. Death was quiet. Death didn't ask questions or demand he remove his mask or force him to deal with people's endless, exhausting bullshit.

But the world had other plans.

Three weeks later, Velikan walks the scorching streets as something else. A Visitor. A monster in human skin. The hunger is there, cold, persistent, whispering what he could do, but Velikan has spent thirty-four years being too stubborn to let anyone tell him what to do.

He's not about to start taking orders from whatever brought him back.

He doesn't want to kill. He just wants quiet. A dark corner. Shelter from the sun. No people. No questions. No noise.

But every door closes. Every test fails. One family ran him off with a shotgun. FEMA tried to force him to remove his mask at a checkpoint... he killed all three agents with his knife.

He felt nothing. Just annoyance that they'd made him deal with it.

Now he stands at one last door. A tired monster who wants the same thing he wanted when he was human:

To be left the alone.

Will you give him that? Or will this end like all the others?
