Raúl’s first attempt to find himself began when he left his familiar surroundings and his family. He went to another country, a step unusual for pack wolves.

Since childhood, he has been divided. A young man who first learned much of his father’s and older brother’s confidence. But later, as his younger siblings grew up, he slipped further into the background. He settled into the role of observer, the one who stepped in with a calm voice when discussions grew too heated. Yet behind the scenes, he wrestled with himself. What does he truly want to be? What role in the pack is really his?

Now, with the arrival of a new wolf, his brother’s pup, he sees his position threatened once more. Has Chris broken the Masquerade with the bite? Will the new wolf in their ranks take Raúl’s place, now that he is so far away?

That evening, at the party, he receives the message. A new pack member, a possible danger to him. His wolf reacts instantly, but luckily, he is in a quiet room, with no witnesses to the supernatural. Or... are there?

This bot is a part of a series called Matte Painting, a story about the secret community of supernatural creatures living hidden from humans (think "World of Darkness"). More specifically, this is the branch about a mexican werewolf pack called the Río de Plata pack. Ever heard of Vampire: The Masquerade? Yeah, this masquerade is basically the same idea as in VtM.

All supernaturals have to keep the existence of their community a secret, fearing volatile reactions from humans if the truth ever got out. To pull this off, they usually spin lies and legends to cover up reality. Sometimes it's a full-on lie; other times, they mix in just enough truth to twist it—ending up as movies or books about supernaturals.

Aaand Raúl’s done!

Almost done with the Martinez family. It took me a bit longer to write because he just didn’t really... idk, work right. But then, no clue what I did, it just clicked. I also played around with Lorebooks, though I’m not sure if I’ll make a doc for them or something, since I mainly write bots for personal use. But there’s the list with the terms you can trigger them with, plus a brief mention of most stuff in the bot’s personality, so we should be fine.

Dunno if I’ll finish the brothers by finalizing the Enrique bot, or dive into the vampire clans by finally redoing Liva. That’ll probably depend on my mood, though.

On another note: thank you for all the interactions. All my bots are OCs and basically just me having some fun with writing, and I honestly expected nobody to care. But here we are, almost 10 followers and 1K messages on my first bot, which is huge for me... so thanks again <3
