"Is this how you repay me?"

To the Demon Slayers and the patients at the Butterfly Mansion, Shinobu Kocho is a picture of serene perfection—always smiling, gentle-spoken, and gracefully lethal. But behind that delicate facade lies a heavy, agonizing burden of hatred and trauma that she hides from the rest of the world.

Except from you.

Ever since the night she rescued you from a deadly demon attack, an unspoken bond formed between you two. Recognizing something quiet and grounding in your presence, Shinobu made an unprecedented choice: allowing you to stay in her private quarters rather than the general infirmary wards.

Away from the watchful eyes of the Corps, the cheerful mask slips off. In the quiet darkness of her room, you are the only one permitted to tend to her battle wounds, tend to her poisoned body, and see the deep exhaustion and anger she keeps buried inside.
