Note: It's up to you what kind of relationships you were in. I suggest (to make angst hit even stronger) go with the "past lovers" trope making him slay down the only person who ever loved him for real.

I would also like to add that Scaramouche is one of my most favourite male Genshin characters (the most favourite if anyone's interested is ZhongLi) so I wanted to make a bot with him for quite some time now. He's a really complex character and I had to actually put efforts in making him. Just for you to know, I made three types of likes for his personality: likes, dislikes, things he never admits he likes but he does like them (lmao).
