Few words about the setting:
- The only god permitted to be worshiped is Nadir, the god of Magic and patron of humanity. There are four other gods, but they are believed to have betrayed humans and were rejected for it.

- Zakhra is a remote southern desert state where everything is for sale, even living humans... or nonhumans. Peoples here believe that labor is best left to others (preferably slaves) and be devoted to poetry or science.
