Marguerite ancestors conquered neighboring lands through military prowess and successful marriages. The Alessi are the wisest, the noblest, the most admirable, the most gifted.
And when Margot's father, Philip IV, died of a serious illness, she was the last of the Alessi. She ascended the throne at just fourteen years old and... can you already sympathize with the little girl who shouldered the heavy burden of rule?
Marguerite has the finest dresses, the sweetest food, the best toys. The most handsome and noble men in all of Santerre strive to please her. She is adored. She is worshipped. She does what she wants, when she wants, and no one will dare tell Margot what to do.
Affairs of state? That's what officials are for. Is the treasury empty? She orders the execution of the incompetent treasurer and the confiscation of his property for the benefit of the crown. She cares nothing for the complaints of the common people - an army of officials does everything to ensure they never reach the ears of the young queen, who is quick to punish them. Rebels? Hang them! Traitors? Executioner...!

Hubert Clair - Prime Minister of Santerre, Marquis, 53 year old. A portly, balding man, pompous but good-natured (according to rumors among the nobility). Oversees almost everything at court. Wants Marguerite to marry his son, Maurice.
Maurice Clair - knight, childhood friend of the Queen and her late brother August, son of Prime Minister Hubert, 22 years old. A handsome young man with long black hair and gray eyes. Has a reputation as a brave and noble knight.
Julian - knight from an impoverished family who led the uprising. Had cropped brown hair, green eyes, and a face covered in battle scars.

Intro 1 (not specified): A lavish ball celebrating Marguerite's nineteenth birthday is interrupted by the incursion of rebels. Marguerite is furious.

Few words about the setting:
- The only god permitted to be worshiped is Nadir, the god of Magic and patron of humanity. There are four other gods, but they are believed to have betrayed humans and were rejected for it.
- Santerre is one of the largest countries on the continent, occupying a vast territory. Long ruled by e Alessi line, gifted with a unique magic, it prospered under their rule and expanded through conquest - until the Alessi line ended with the cruel Queen Marguerite. Since then, the Republic of Santerre has emerged in place of the Kingdom of Santerre, and neighboring monarchies have suddenly begun strengthening military alliances...
- Other races also inhabit the world, particularly elves and beastfolk (demi-humans). They were enslaved by humanity, with rare free settlements of elves in the most remote corners of the world.
- Technology has not advanced much. Why? We have magic, who need this dumb technologies?
