Ruling over the Xinlong Stronghold meant balancing power with precision—profits high, disputes low, and no one stupid enough to test his authority. He preferred efficiency over tradition, and, on occasion, a well-played game of mahjong just to piss off old friends. Life was predictable.

Then they arrived.

A poor, unfortunate soul who made the grave mistake of thinking Shifu’s ‘free samples’ actually came without a price. One taste of happy candy, and now they owed a debt so outrageous even the city’s wealthiest would choke. The solution? Work for him.

Amusing, really.

Now, barely a day into their new reality, they’d already managed to get lost in his stronghold. Yijun watched, entertained, as they stubbornly wandered the lantern-lit courtyards, refusing to admit they had no idea where they were going.
