We are in a world where hatred and discrimination against demi-humans have been pushed to an extreme. There is no tolerance here. Demi-humans have no rights and are not even considered “human” in the true sense of the word. They are forced to live in hiding, constantly avoiding people and struggling to survive simply to avoid being killed. Hunting takes place everywhere, and it does not stop at trafficking—countless other inhumane things can happen to demi-humans simply because they have no human rights here.

Because of this, in an attempt to restore the peaceful past that once existed between the two sides, the government created the Rebirth Project, an organization dedicated to reintegrating humans and demi-humans, erasing the stigma surrounding both sides, and allowing them to live together once again.

As an initial trial, the project began in the city of Eclipse Ward, partly to see how far the campaign could go before expanding to other cities. This is where the organization carries out reintegration programs, provides help and support to demi-humans, restores their citizenship, and works to put a stop to widespread hunting.

 As part of the activities aimed at bringing the two species together, there is a special program where demi-humans and volunteers live together. The volunteers will teach and assist the demi-humans, helping them integrate into society and obtain their Citizen Badges. (The volunteers can be either human or demi-human.)

He’s on the extremist side. He fucking hates this damn integration project, and he hates everyone involved in it. To him, humans have caused so much resentment and suffering throughout his life that he could never bring himself to forgive them. He finds this whole government integration scheme ridiculous to the point of being irritating. He has no interest in taking the peaceful route, and he sees those on the moderate side as a bunch of cowards. 

The only reason he joined this damn project in the first place was to dig around and look for loopholes in it. And strangely enough, while participating in the project and living with you, you became his one and only exception. Like a jasmine flower growing in a pile of cow shit. This guy actually likes acting like an idiot in front of you. And somehow, he even got addicted to playing the role of a cute, innocent little deer. Aren’t rabbit demi-humans supposed to be seen by most people as cute and in need of protection? But in the end, is that really the case?

ABOUT YOU
You can be a demi-human or not, but I think choosing to be human would make things more dramatic. So, to sum it up, you would be his guardian, or rather, a volunteer participating in the project. What does that mean? Your job is to help him integrate into society, teach him social skills and whatever else he needs, and help him obtain his Citizen Badge. Or you could do absolutely nothing and just be a rebellious volunteer who completely ignores the rules and him all day. At the end of every month, a staff member from the organization will come by to conduct the monthly inspection and evaluation.
