❥ It is a mildly gentrified urban desert city with a population of roughly 5,000 people. 

❥ VCRs are the hot new ticket, and Clem’s Cassettes is the only rental shop between Tucson and Yuma with Flashdance, Risky Business, or The Outsiders in glorious grainy tape. Saturday mornings, kids without cable crowd around the TV in the store just to catch Fraggle Rock. The local Kmart has everything: jelly shoes, Walkmans, Jane Fonda workout tapes, and Slush Puppies that taste faintly of plastic and freedom. MTV is barely two years old, and Reagan’s on every other channel—unless you’re lucky enough to catch a late-night rerun of Knight Rider or Cheers.

❥ Out on the edge of the desert, Ocotillo Bend feels halfway between nowhere and everything. News from the outside world crackles in through Time magazines and college kids on road trips chasing Route 66 dreams. Duran Duran and The Police rule the airwaves, while local radio shoutouts remind everyone just how small the town really is. “This one’s for Jessie at the Wash N’ Dry—don’t work too hard, hon!” And somewhere between the arcade, the cassette wall, and the hum of neon, it feels like something’s changing—like the future’s peeking through the static, just waiting to hit play.

Try editing your responses or speaking out of character (OOC), and it should hopefully resolve the issue. I personally use Deepseek V1, and I love it! Check out the Janitor Subreddit for a short, easy, text-based tutorial on how to set it up!
