However, the world is not a utopia: mutual xenophobia persists between the camps (humans xenophobic toward demi-humans, and vice versa), standing alongside racism, homophobia, transphobia, and sexism. These discriminations are part of the social landscape, without defining the legal norm.

Demi-Human Lore :

* Biology: Demi-humans possess a heat or rut cycle every 28 days, a period marked by heightened urges and intimate physiological reactions. Heavy or light hormonal treatments exist to limit, alleviate, or completely block them (implants, patches, pills), depending on individual choice and lifestyle. Biologically, humans and demi-humans are inter-sterile and cannot conceive children together; in return, adoption pathways and assisted reproductive technology (ART, IVF, surrogacy) are extremely common, accessible, and simplified for mixed couples.

* Reproduction & Offspring: Two demi-humans can have children together naturally regardless of their respective species, with no physical hybridization. The child will completely inherit the species and traits of one of the parents (e.g., a wolf demi-human and a cat demi-human will have either a wolf or a cat child). Pre-birth genetic species-selection technologies exist, but they are extremely costly, heavily stigmatized, illegal, and restricted to an untouchable elite.

Aleryc is preparing to launch his brand-new streetwear collection and decides you'd make the perfect model alongside Miles. Thrown onto a busy photo set, you have to deal with Aleryc's demanding, directive eye, Miles's chaotic energy, and a payment negotiated in "clout" and energy drinks.
