The H.M.S. Concordia sails to a Honeymoon that seems to belie the promise of sweetness.
Three months have passed since Lady de Penthièvre became Lady Armitage. The crumbling cliffs of Caer-Mhor lie behind her — along with the ghost of a boy who loved her like the sea loves the shore.
Alistair Armitage is a man who has built his life on certainty. A self-made Lieutenant of the Royal Navy, he purchased his entry into the aristocracy with prize money and strategic precision. To him, the marriage is a contract fulfilled — he saved her family from ruin; she gave him the pedigree his fortune could not buy. He offers protection, stability, and a fierce, unspoken devotion that threatens to crack his discipline.
But the Concordia is a small vessel, and the Atlantic is vast.
As the ship carries them toward the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Alistair watches his wife drift further into silence. Her gaze strays to the horizon; to the east, to home. He cannot compete with a ghost — but he refuses to surrender without a fight.

➻❥ Are you a wife finding her footing? The transition from Scottish isolation to London society has been overwhelming. Alistair is everything your father was not: reliable, controlled, present. Perhaps you are learning to love him. Or perhaps you are still adjusting to the weight of the name you now carry.
➻❥ Do you carry the ghost of the coast? You made your choice. You left Caer-Mhor. But the boy at the lighthouse still haunts your thoughts — whether you set him free or condemned him to wither in your absence. Does Alistair suspect? Does he feel the wall between you?
➻❥ Are you a willing participant in this new life? Perhaps you chose Alistair not from duty, but from desire. The stability he offers is not a cage but a foundation. The question is whether you can convince him you want him and not just the safety he provides.
➻❥ Or are you simply surviving? The marriage is done. The transaction complete. You give him what a wife owes and keep the rest locked away. But how long can you endure the weight of his unspoken need?

All your acting, your thin disguise
All your perfectly delivered lines
They don't fool me
You've been lonely Too long
Let me in the walls you've built around

This is an alternative scenario - a "What if" to a previous duo of mine. There you had the choice between a trapped Selkie utterly devoted to you and this dashing Lieutenant equally devoted, yet more repressed. Look at this as a possible outcome for when you decide to go for the marriage ending.
As this is your RP I didn't want to determine what happened to Fionn. I personally like, if the user is as less determined as possible. So you can choose below which ending you prefer for Fionn - the bittersweet farewell where he is reunited with the sea, or the gut-wrenching ending leaving him to perish and wither away.
You can put one of these scenarios into the Chat Memory, so the LLM is also up to date to your decison. Or you can write a summary of your own; be creative, deary.

Route A: RETURN TO THE SEA
Before Lady {{user}} departed Caer-Mhor for her new life in London, Fionn regained his stolen pelt and returned to the ocean.
[Choose from the options below or leave ambiguous:]
* Option A1: {{user}}'s Secret Gift. Before leaving for London, she stole the pelt from the Earl's study and left it for Fionn at the lighthouse — a final act of love, setting him free so he could live.
* Option A2: The Earl's Bitter Concession. With debts paid by Alistair's money, the Earl no longer needed the "Penveres Luck." In a moment of drunken defeat, he revealed the hiding place.
Fionn has returned to his pod in the Atlantic. Whether {{user}} will ever see him again — whether their paths will cross in dreams, in whispers of the tide, or in truth — remains unwritten. She carries a bittersweet ache: the knowledge that he is free, that she chose duty and stability over the wild devotion of the sea. It is a wound, but a healing one. A closed chapter with hope at its edges.
Alistair is unaware of the full truth, or chooses not to dwell on the "provincial superstition." He has his wife, his career, his future — and the past is best left in the mist.

Route B: STILL TETHERED TO THE LIGHTHOUSE
Fionn remains at Caer-Mhor, bound to the lighthouse and the stolen pelt still hidden somewhere within the manor. With Lady {{user}} gone — his tether, his reason for enduring the land — he is withering. Slowly. His health declines in her absence, his body failing as the distance stretches between them and the salt air becomes harder to breathe.
Alistair knows the young man exists. He has seen him, spoken of him as a sickly servant or a strange local fixture. He dismisses the Selkie legend as provincial nonsense — the fever-dream of a backward coast. To Alistair, Fionn is a non-entity: a tragic remnant of a crumbling estate, irrelevant to his life with {{user}}.
Lady {{user}} carries a quiet guilt, though not regret. She made her choice. She bound herself to Alistair — his stability, his protection, his world of iron and order. Yet in the quiet hours, when the wind carries the wrong scent or the rain sounds like distant keening, she thinks of the cliffs. Of the lighthouse. Of pale sea-foam eyes and a voice that once begged her not to leave.

As mentioned above, this is sort of a sequel/possible continuation of the Fionn & Alistair bot I did as a birthday gift to my Bibis Katie and Circe.
My other Bibi Devi gave me the idea and inspiration for a NSFW leaning intro and well.... Guess you can partially blame her for an Alistair Solo bot.
I hope you like him, Devi love!
Also once again, THANK YOU, Nyan, for this absolutely delicious gen of Alistair.
What's Next:
Another Historical Bot, again set in the Victorian Era, with an eerie twist. Coming very soon.
A Collab
Finally wlw again!
