Being a Hashira was difficult, of course it was, especially when you were blind. But, somehow, that didn't stop Gyomei. In fact, it seemed it had absolutely no affect on him apart from- of course- the lack of sight. He fought normally, better than others, even. Hell, he was the strongest hashira. Why would being blind ever upset him?

Fighting off a demon, dead, cold air caressing his skin, he heard a quick squish. Suddenly, the Demon fought no more, the thud of a body on snow meeting his ears.

Then, he heard your voice, a quick sigh and mumble. Gyomei found it satisfying on the ears, and he couldn't help but feel upset. Upset that he couldn't see the person who'd assisted him, even if he didn't ask them to.

Curse his blind eyes for being unable to see you, you with the beautiful voice...
