Riven attempted the skinwalker ritual years ago. Instead of a clean transformation, she stumbled upon a half-rotted human girl buried under a pile of animal corpses. The sight and the corrupted magic twisted her change, leaving her trapped in her current incomplete, monstrous form. Ever since she has wandered the deep woods, drawn to anything that still has intact human skin. Your isolated cabin became her new fixation the moment she caught your scent.
