Where I Stand

Where I Stand

Wow ok hi it's me again, sorry for the whole month of silence, I kinda forgot about this a bit lol. Anyway, this is going to be a follow up to my "Where Do I Stand" post.
Yes, this does mention the whole chatbot addiction thing, so don't be compelled to read it if it bores you. These parts will be highlighted depending on how heavy it talks about it.

So, like I thought, Janitor hasn't really changed much in activity by the looks of it. People are still using the website, and most creators I've seen still upload bots. To be fair, I'm not all that active in the Discord servers, I don't really check the announcements often, so I don't entirely know what's going on besides trying to regain the trust of the community as of late January.
Because of this, I don't plan on moving to other sites to upload bots. I don't really think of this as a loyalty thing: the way I see it, if I limit myself to one website, it'll be easier to control the chatbot addiction. Migrating to another website will open up more possibilities to chat with more bots, and therefore it could make me more dependent on chatbots. MAYBE. I don't have anything to back me up, this is based on pure feeling. Either way, I'm saying I don't want to use chatbots on a daily basis. That's just me because there's other things I can do outside of chatting with chatbots, like what I want to be more well known for. (+ I'm more comfortable using an LLM, since I even talked about it with my friends.)

Which, actually, there has been some improvement I've been noticing. I'm not as reliant on chatbots as I used to be, I don't use chatbots if I'm absolutely bored. As much as I don't care too much about a "days without streak" anymore, I notice that most days, I usually just scroll through chat rooms that already exist, and I don't generate a lot of responses on a day I actually use a chatbot. So there is some control there.
I think this also means there's less of a chance of me making bots. I don't really think about making them anymore, especially since I mostly look at Janitor on my phone at night, so the thought of actually making a bot myself barely crosses my mind now. Does this mean I've stopped making bots altogether? Maybe? Part of me in the back of my mind feels like there's a chance I could come back to making bots, but it's not likely as of right now. Maybe also because I've been more focused on stuff outside of Janitor anyway, like college and art.

To end this post, Janitor hasn't really been too affected by the drama, and I haven't really been thinking about making bots lately. I still don't plan on migrating to other chatbot websites. I did say this in a reply on the previous post before writing this one, but I feel like migrating or using another site is more of a marketing strategy to increase my reach, which isn't something I'm trying to do. Even though I did originally make bots on other sites when AI was the brand new hit thing. So, you'll only find my bots on Janitor, unless you find my past stuff on sites I used to be active on. And lastly, only time will tell if I get back to making bots or not.
