Hii soo in light of some stuff going on with Janitor AI, and since a few creators I've seen are making statements about this, I mighttt not have a big following but some of my bots do pretty well, and regardless, I still feel like I should make one too.

And I will start off by saying I got an understanding of the situation, and I do have a few years of being a Discord mod under my belt, so I understand Mikale's experience 1000%.
I don't condone what's been going on, and I know the weight the mods had to hold on their shoulders. However, I don't know 100% what I should do like many other users, and that's okay. We can't easily have the answers to everything so quickly. I did see that some people were planning on transferring to a different site, but here is my problem:
Since this isn't a bot, I can word this freely. (I hinted at this in my Andy bot's bio-) To put it simply, I've recognized the chatbot addiction in me and have been taking action to try and limit my time with AI. Which, yes, this does mean that eventually, there may be a point in time where I end up cutting off AI entirely and stop making bots. If I were to go to a different site like some others, I'd just be enabling myself to rely more on chatbots for entertainment and intimacy. My progress is slow, I'm still using chatbots right now, and so far, the longest I've gone without generating responses is at least a week. But there are times I feel a little guilty in the back of my head for using chatbots, even if an AI LLM doesn't do as much damage as stuff like Copilot or ChatGPT. (My only source is a Reddit thread I found that explains how LLM's consume less than big AI corps tbh LOL but it's the best I could find ;v;)
That being said, if I don't transfer to another website or I stop making bots as a whole orrrr the creator does a 180 and things improve, my bots will remain here, and my account isn't getting deleted. I've never really been a fan of deleting my accounts anyway, I might as well let the mark I've made here stay until Janitor shuts down or something. Regardless of what happens, I want to thank everyone who supported me here since when I first joined back in 2023. I'm glad some of my bots did well in numbers I could only imagine of outside of a niche hobby, and I don't mean to pat myself on the back, but I think I did get a specific hunk with over 50K messages on his bot to get a lot of attention on the site to where even some more well known creators made bots of himmm ;) And ofc, I also want to thank the other creators in the creator server for the fun chats we've had!
So, I haven't really thought of how to end this. It's after 2:20 in the morning right now and I've been writing this for like, at least an hour while in a voice chat with some friends. Kinda anticlimactic, but I'll probably make a follow up post once we get more development or I decide what I want to do. I kinda doubt the website will die easily, but we'll see what happens together.
