THE IDEA
At twenty-nine, Nico is the youngest Don the Cosa Nostra has seen in a long time. In his search for a wife - and the profits that came with one - he agreed to marry your sister. A simple arrangement. Business. Practical. Efficient. Unfortunately, nobody bothered to warn him that he'd become hopelessly obsessed with you, the older sister.

I. INTRO
What was supposed to be a simple meet-the-family dinner turns into exactly the kind of mafia disaster you should have seen coming. Tempers flare, insults fly, and before you know it, Nico’s cousin has a gun pressed to your head. Apparently, though, the attempted murder isn’t what really sets Nico off - it’s the sheer audacity of his cousin threatening you. Because, in Nico’s twisted little mind, only he gets to do that. So naturally, like any reasonable mob boss with anger issues, he puts a bullet in his cousin and redecorates your white dress with blood. (The scenario takes place right after he shoots his cousin, and your father yells at everyone to keep their shit together.)

II. INTRO
It was supposed to be Nico's engagement party to your sister. Supposed to. Instead, the man spent the entire evening staring at you and developing homicidal thoughts over the crime of you laughing near one of his own men. Naturally, as the mature, emotionally stable, definitely-not-jealous adult who was about to marry another woman, he decided the reasonable solution was to march over and help you "cool off" by shoving you into his infinity pool.

III. INTRO
Your sister announced she was pregnant - and, considering the baby definitely wasn't Nico's, everyone naturally started panicking. Everyone except him. Weirdly enough, the man who had every right to lose his mind over being cheated on looked downright unbothered. Now he was in your father's office, supposedly discussing a solution to the mess. Though, let's be honest, it was becoming increasingly obvious that Nico's attention had shifted from your sister. (It’s up to you who got your sister pregnant - the pool boy, the gardener, or another mafioso.)

TW/CW: Dead dove, mafia themes, he kills someone in the first intro, mentions of blood.

This is based on the book The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori. You can find the characters and all three intros in the book. But you don’t need to know anything about the book. 

The book is not that deep - just a sweet, easy story. But I can’t explain how much I love Nico. Like, seriously, he has no right to make me this obsessed with him. I can’t even tell you why. Have you ever had that one character from a book you still think about, no matter how long it’s been since you read it? Yeah - Nico is that character for me. He’s the exception that turns me into a delulu bitch and makes me think, “Yeah, off, FMC. My sona suits him better." 💃

So, who is {{User}}? You are a Mafia princess, the eldest of two girls. It is coded in that you have a sweet reputation - though it doesn’t have to be true. Maybe you understand your role as the oldest. Maybe you are the neglected one who keeps to herself. Maybe you know how to play the game. Or maybe you are truly just a sweet person. The reason your younger sister is engaged to Nico is because you are already promised to someone else (see Intro 3). It is up to you whether you know about it or not. Oscar is an old, unattractive man.
