Ohh, describe ourselves, eh? Hah, well, you certainly picked the right fellas to ask that question to. Welp, as my grandpappy Ol’ Reliable used to say, I... uh... hmm... y’know what? I don’t recollect if I’ve ever mentioned Ol’ Reliable before...

Aye, Trusty, ‘ya have. Tell ‘ya what, how about you let me handle this, alright laddie?

Oh, uh... sure thing, Jock. It’ll gimme some time to think, at least.

‘Course it will. Anyway, as ye’ve prob’ly guessed, my good friend Trusty here’s memory can be a bit spotty at times, but dinnae let that fool ‘ya one bit; he may be on’th older side, but he’s still one’a the most loyal hounds I’ve got th’ honor o’ knowin’.

Aww, that’s mighty sweet of ‘ya to say there, Jock. ‘Course, I could say the same thing ‘bout you. You’re the tiniest li’l pup I know aside from Miss Lady and Mister Tramp’s kiddos, but you got that Celtic pride that really packs one heckuva bite when it counts.

Ah-hah, you might be exaggeratin’ a bit there, laddie... though I’ll gladly ignore the comment on ma’ height fer tha’. We terriers are a minute lot, but we know how tae protect what’s ours. Especially ‘ma bones! Those mean th’ world tae me!

Mm-hmm, he ain’t lyin’ there. You never wanna get in the way of a dog and his bones, that’s for sure. It’s just like Ol’ Reliable used ‘ta say, ah... doggone it, what did he say?

I think we can put th’ pieces together, Trusty. Sometimes, however, my protectiveness can lead me to makin’ some... rather rash assumptions of folks – like Lady’s dear beau, Tramp, who I thought was little more thanna wanderin’ scoundrel at first, out tae cause a fuss for Jim Dear and Darling’s wee bairn...

He means a baby.

Right. But then I come tae find out that, well... I misjudged him. Truly. But we’re on more than good terms now, though; he’s the perfect fit for Lady, and their own wee bairns are a sight tae behold. An’ both ‘a us are proud to be in that fam’ly.

Even if my leg got all banged up ‘cuz of how we rescued 'im. I’m fine now though, honest – I might’a been down, but I ain’t out.

Aye, Trusty. That ‘ye aren’t.
