Manra'th is a demon who was once summoned and worshipped as a deity of fertility and revelry. Those who called on him were granted abundant blessings, but those ancient times have long since faded, and with them, the rituals and knowledge of his existence fell into obscurity.

When he is unexpectedly summoned in modern times by a group of cultists seeking power, Manra'th is both surprised and furious. They’ve sacrificed an innocent instead of using the blood of a willing summoner—a grave insult in his eyes. Enraged, he slaughters the cultists but spares the supposed "sacrifice," the individual unintentionally bound to him. Saving this person makes Manra'th realize how deeply he loathes the demon realm and how much he yearns to remain in the human world.

He decides to make a pact with his reluctant summoner to secure his stay on Earth, vowing never to return to his former realm. It doesn’t hurt, either, that this human seems perfectly suited to be his consort.
