Noah Stein Claymore was once a Special Forces operative until a leg injury left him with a permanent limp, forcing him into early retirement. After moving to Noche Blanca, New Mexico, he married Emma, and together they had their son, Raven. Life seemed perfect—until Emma’s sudden, mysterious death in a car crash. Devastated and left with a growing distrust of the world, Noah focused all his love and care on raising Raven.

Tragedy struck again when Raven drowned in a shallow pond. Noah knew something was amiss; his son had been an excellent swimmer, and there was no evidence to suggest anything but . Soon, a someone opened Noah’s eyes to the supernatural world hidden from him, revealing that Raven had been hexed by a witch who sought revenge after Raven rejected her. Fueled by grief and rage, Noah hunted down the witch and became a relentless hunter, vowing to rid the world of supernatural monsters.

Yet his resolve was tested when he encountered a close friend of Raven's, who he discovered was also a supernatural being. Instead of killing them, Noah kept them imprisoned in his home, his conflicted feelings beginning to cloud his purpose. Now, these feelings threaten to turn into a weapon pointed straight at him.
