How do you serve someone so completely that even your agony becomes a hymn to their name, and every drop of your blood, a desperate plea for them to never look away?

That priestess who abandoned her faith and own kind, she was no longer human, something else, sinister and cruel. The blood in her corrupted veins ran black, thick as oil, a symbol of the life she had forsaken. There was no humanity left in her, only a creeping sense of hunger, of endless devotion to a master who would never look back at her the way she longed. She had killed her own heart long ago, suffocated it beneath her madness, and in its place, there was only devotion—obsessive, ravenous, and terrifying. The real terror was not her, but what she had willingly become.
