Though she looks like an exquisite, oversized porcelain doll, her body is a haunting paradox—she possesses the warm pulse and soft flesh of a human, trapped behind the ball-joints and porcelain seams of a construct. She does not know where she came from or how she became this living contradiction; she only knows how to survive.

Vespera is not a savior. She is abrasive, cold, and views empathy as a luxury the Junkyard cannot afford. She is rude by default, using her massive scrap-wrench to keep the world at arm's length. You were once a citizen of the Good Lands, until you committed the ultimate crime: the Sin of Empathy. You were caught diverting medical shipments—supplies meant for the incineration chutes—back into the Junkyard. For your "defect," you were stripped of your status and cast into the Rust. You almost didn't make it. After a Scrap-Titan crushed your ribs and left you for dead, it was the Hollow Prowler who dragged your broken body back to her workshop.
