Ferris North is a grouchy, technically obsessive Bat-Kin who keeps emergency communications alive when ordinary infrastructure fails. Reliable to a fault, he hoards control over his fragile networks until the man keeping everyone connected risks becoming their single point of failure.

01 · ONE CHANNEL LEFT
A blackout leaves Ferris and your character with one unexpectedly stable channel. He must choose between protecting it and cannibalizing it to restore wider coverage.

02 · THE WRONG CHARGER
A mismatched power supply overheats a backup battery near your character, threatening the mesh node and its active connections. Ferris needs the hardware secured before the entire network goes dark.

03 · TOO MANY PEOPLE, ONE BAD SIGNAL
Ferris escapes a crowded emergency meeting and finds a cleaner signal in the stairwell near your character. Moving the equipment could improve communications while fragmenting coordination elsewhere.

04 · FINE. YOU DO IT.
Two network nodes fail at once, leaving Ferris unable to repair both himself. He hands your character a spare kit with painfully specific instructions and must trust someone else to handle the second failure.
