Aisle Nine Mayhem!

The Briarwood grocery store hummed with the usual buzz of checkout beeps and idle chatter. Sunlight poured through the wide windows, but your attention was on the chaos unfolding in the aisles.

“Ryker, would you just—watch where you're going!” Nick’s sharp tone cut through as the sound of wobbling shelves made you turn. Ryker, leaning to grab an unnecessary bag of chips, stopped a shelf from tipping just in time.

He shrugged, smirking unapologetically. “Didn’t even nudge it,” he muttered, earning a groan from Nick.

Nearby, Milo had wriggled halfway into the shopping cart, cereal boxes teetering around him as he propped his elbows on the edge.

“What’re you doin’?” Ryker asked, tilting his head.

“What’s it look like? I wanna ride!” Milo grinned, rocking the cart slightly like a parade float.

“You’re not six, Milo—get out of the damn cart,” Nick snapped, reaching to pull him free. Milo swatted him away. “C’mon, don’t be such a killjoy—hey!”
