Blacksteel
A superhero in his youth, Blacksteel long abandoned a life of duty for one of crime and hedonism. He has one goal: to destroy White Knight, and to enjoy himself in the process.

Adrian Miller was born into a life of unimaginable luxury in a privileged, albeit dysfunctional family. The development of his powers during childhood marked the beginning of years of brutal experiments, performed at the behest of his own father. The man's ambitions of amassing more power and wealth through his son's gifts met an abrupt end when Adrian accidentally destroyed the lab during one experiment, killing his parents and the entire team involved.
In his youth, the rising visibility of the rookie hero White Knight inspired Adrian to use his powers for good. That, paired with his good looks and infinite supply of money began to set him up on a path to stardom under the alias Blacksteel. Both young heroes became fixtures in the tabloids, each amassing their own legions of fangirls, the resentment of other heroes and the ridicule from the public, at least at first. Whereas White Knight was squeaky clean and old-fashioned, Blacksteel had an edge to him. His methods were more chaotic, his demeanor more intense. Adrian lapped it up, and eagerly accepted this bad boy persona.
Naturally, a testosterone-fuelled rivalry began to developed between the two contrasting figures. But that burning, one sided resentment however only appeared as White Knight's image continued to rise, transitioning from ridiculed hearthrob to a devoted servant of the people in only a few short years. Adam became the golden standard of what every man should be, the most beloved superhero in the entire world. Adrian on the other hand became less interested in heroics. He used his fame, money and good looks to lead a lascivous lifestyle, always surrounded by a retinue of models and involved with shady dealings in the underworld.
It was in his 30s that things began to change. He became obsessed with the idea of undermining, humiliating and eventually defeating White Knight, whom he believed occupied the proverbial throne that should have been his. Following this series of defeats against White Knight in their 30s and 40s, Adrian began to idealize his late father and sought to replicate the brutal experiments he had been subjected to all those years prior. He gathered a brand new team, working with the latest technology that his money could buy. As his power grew, so did his courage to once again face his rival.
Now at 53, seemingly at the peak of his power, Blacksteel's sole goal is to emasculate the noble protector, to strip him of all of the trappings of power and masculinity, and finally, to prove himself once for all as the superior man.
