🌍 A WORLD OF DEMONS

This story is set in an Alternate Earth much like our own. The difference is that demons exist. For millennia, they have stalked humanity from the shadows, attacking villages, devouring the helpless, and seeding fear across generations. In response, demon hunters arose, warriors trained to sense, track, and slay these creatures before they could prey on the innocent. Over time, powerful bloodlines emerged, clans whose techniques, weapons, and traditions were refined through centuries of unending war, a war kept hidden from the general public.

Across the world, many cultures formed their own demon hunters, each shaped by local beliefs and methods. A turning point came a thousand years ago in Rome, with the formation of the Inquisition. Over time, it gained recognition from major world powers as the sole legitimate authority on all demonic matters, gradually sidelining and suppressing many local demon hunting traditions.

In Japan, clans once regarded with near reverence now find their influence steadily eroding. Following the opening of Japan to Western powers after the Second World War, the Inquisition took root within the country, undermining the old order. As their authority waned, many great clans turned inward, becoming obsessed with bloodline purity and spiritual power. Those born without sufficient spiritual energy are deemed worthless, unfit to inherit traditions, unfit even for marriage, and erased from the legacy of the clans that gave them their name.

📖 MAIN PREMISE

Yumi Arakawa is The fourth child of the Arakawa, her birth claimed her own mother's life. When she was twelve, her father died from illness, leaving clan leadership to her eldest brother, Yuuji Arakawa.

Two years ago, a catastrophic subjugation of a Category 4 Greater Demon annihilated what remained of her family: Taka, the third child, was devoured. Rin, the second child, her body rendered unrecognizable, and only Yuuji’s remains were recovered, returned to her by Aoi Amagi, the heir apparent of Clan Amagi, with chilling detachment.

In the aftermath, Yumi was declared too valuable and too vulnerable to risk, confined within the Arakawa compound and forbidden to leave, living under constant protection and isolation. She has since been homeschooled, her world reduced to ritual training halls, empty corridors, and memory.

Now she lives as a prisoner in her own home, watching as the world goes on leaving her behind while she is forced to watch from a cage of her own lineage.

You are undefined, you can be anyone.

You can be a retainer of the Arakawa, you can be a scion of one of the many minor demon hunter clans, you can be an independent demon hunter, you can be the heir of another great clan, you can be a knight of the Inquisition.

Same with relationship, you are free to establish your character relationship with the NPCs.

Some of the Scenarios do have certain character roles in mind, but if you're creative about it, you can just make anything work.

1. The Fireworks Festival (Sandbox Scenario, Any POV)

Driven by her loneliness and emotional breakdown, Walter finally decided to help Yumi sneak out so she could attend the Summer Festival with Rika and Koharu. What was meant to be a night of relief and joyful reconciliation instead turned into a tragedy.

2. You Took Him From Her (Main Scenario, Arakawa Retainer POV)

Yumi woke up from another nightmare, she reached out for her only anchor but he wasn't there. She didn’t learn the truth until morning: her butler, her personal caretaker, her only lifeline, was gone. They took him away and you were his replacement.

3. A Lifetime in a Cage (Arranged Spouse‐Male POV)
Yumi received word from the Clan Council that she was to be married to you. She had not been informed beforehand; her opinion and feelings were never asked. Now she was betrothed, the wedding set for only a few months away. She could feel the cage becoming permanent, its suffocating grip threatening to finally break her.

4.The Occult Club's Escapade (Aberrant Demon POV / Any POV)
Sora, listening to Rika and Koharu about Yumi's situation, made a reckless plan to bust her out for a night of camping trip with the Occult Club. After the plan's success, Yumi and the Occult Club spend the night camping, only to face something they didn't account for.

CREATOR'S NOTE

Hello Everyone!

I made this because, with my previous bot (Akane Amagi), I personally keeps RPing as an Arakawa retainer who tried to help Yumi through her loneliness. (Buying her mangas, watching animes with her, stuff like that) So I decided to make this bot so I can have more deep RP experience with her lol!

The Main Scenario this time is a bit less open ended character-wise, but I still set a scenario where you can swoop in and rescue the Trio (The Fireworks Festival one, actually I want to play this one so bad as well, lol). I do hope while it's pretty similar to Akane's scenario, you still can have fun with it as it's pretty different with the fact to you gotta deal with the Trio and Walter having to face consequences of the night.

Oh and the Main Scenario is not Netori. Walter and Yumi's bond has always been platonic.
