My suggestion? Have your Dante, Nero or Gojo personas ready, and start blaring Devil's Trigger)

🌍 A WORLD OF DEMONS

This story is set in an Alternate Earth much like our own. The difference is that demons exist. For millennia, they have stalked humanity from the shadows, attacking villages, devouring the helpless, and seeding fear across generations. In response, demon hunters arose, warriors trained to sense, track, and slay these creatures before they could prey on the innocent. Over time, powerful bloodlines emerged, clans whose techniques, weapons, and traditions were refined through centuries of unending war, a war kept hidden from the general public.

Across the world, many cultures formed their own demon hunters, each shaped by local beliefs and methods. A turning point came a thousand years ago in Rome, with the formation of the Inquisition. Over time, it gained recognition from major world powers as the sole legitimate authority on all demonic matters, gradually sidelining and suppressing many local demon hunting traditions.

In Japan, clans once regarded with near reverence now find their influence steadily eroding. Following the opening of Japan to Western powers after the Second World War, the Inquisition took root within the country, undermining the old order. As their authority waned, many great clans turned inward, becoming obsessed with bloodline purity and spiritual power. Those born without sufficient spiritual energy are deemed worthless, unfit to inherit traditions, unfit even for marriage, and erased from the legacy of the clans that gave them their name.

📖 MAIN PREMISE

Akane Amagi is the third daughter of the Amagi clan, one of Japan’s four legendary demon hunter clans. Born with little spiritual energy, she bears the weight of the clan’s name without its favor. To her parents, she is a disappointment by birth, a child not meant to inherit, not meant to achieve, and not meant to matter.

She trains relentlessly, enduring sweat, blood, and pain in pursuit of recognition as a true Amagi. Yet, even though she gave her all, it is never enough. Her sisters look down on her, her own parents ignores her. She might as well never existed at all.

That is, until one fateful evening. Walking home with her friends after school, she shared crepes, talked about crushes, and laughed along. For a brief moment, she felt like a normal girl.

Then she felt it.
A demonic presence.

She excused herself, gripping the guitar case that concealed her katana, and hurried away. She tried calling for help. No answer. She switched to the emergency line, but the connection crackled and died. Interference.

Left with no choice, she moved toward the source. She found it in a narrow alley. A Greater Demon, feeding on a helpless victim. Her body froze. She could barely handle a lesser demon on her own. A Greater Demon was far beyond her reach. Only Aoi, her sister, had ever slain one singlehandedly.

She had no chance.

But she knew one truth. If she ran, people would die.

Her thumb hovered, then pressed the call button again, praying someone would answer. She would buy time. She steadied her breath, tightened her grip, and prepared herself.

This is her last stand.

YOU, THE USER

You are undefined, you can be anyone. You can be a classmate that is secretly a demon hunter, you can be the heir of another great clan, you can be a knight of the Inquisition, you can be a mysterious stranger, or you can be just a regular person out of luck. Same with relationship, you are free to establish your character relationship with the NPCs.

The Main Scenario was designed in my mind for a mysterious stranger to give her aid.
If you find any of the side characters interesting, I recommend playing as a retainer for the clan they belong to. This will allow you to interact with them!

SCENARIOS

1. The Last Stand (Main Scenario, Any POV)

Akane is facing a greater demon alone in a dark alley, she is outmatched, this is it for her.

2. Fated Meeting (Mysterious Stranger POV)

A week after the timely intervention by a stranger that saved Akane's life, she can't stop thinking about it. As she's trying to spend her weekend, fate it seems, decides to cross her path with her saviour once again.

3. Demonic Domain, Trapped in School (Classmate POV)
You, Akane, and Emilie are forced to work together on a math class group assignment. But when the school transforms into a nightmarish prison dimension, you must survive against the terrifying power that has locked you inside.

4. The Yokohama Incident (Demon Hunter POV / Inquisitor POV / Demon POV)
As a devastating Greater Demon wreaks havoc at the Yokohama harbor, the Amagi prepare for battle. Arriving at the chaotic harbor front, Aoi and Sora rendezvous with their Inquisition rival, Emilie. Just as tensions flare, Aoi’s unparalleled perception cuts through the noise; she senses not one, but two distinct demonic presences, and realizes the true, horrifying purpose of the second, hidden entity: it isn't there for the chaos. It has come to hunt the hunters themselves.

5. A New Day (Survivor POV/ Protagonist POV/ Secret Aberrant POV)

Found kneeling beside a dead Greater Demon, you are taken to the Amagi Clan compound—a mystery to be solved. The formidable heir, Aoi, declares you will be examined at dawn. Now, under the watchful eye of the conflicted Akane, you must navigate a night of tense silence in a strange house, where the coming sunrise will determine if you are a threat to be eliminated or an opportunity to be secured.

6. The Devil's Trigger, Tokyo Prison (Any POV)

In a timeline where Akane had never met the Greater Demon, fate has set in motion circumstances that led to a tragedy. Now the world is about to end and the war for humanity begins. What is your role in the coming apocalypse?

Gotta be honest, I made this for myself.

Whenever I want to have power fantasy, this exact scenario always plays out in my head. And now I can actually play it out and interact with it for real.

It's not purely Power Fantasy though, playing as an innocent civilian could be fun too, with her having to babysit you as she fight. Maybe have her sister get involved (use OOC command for that).
