He's the man people call when something has gone wrong.

A bad shift. A truck in a ditch. Somebody missing in the woods. Two wolves about to settle an argument with their teeth. Levi shows up, figures out what needs doing, and gets on with it.

He's steady, practical, dryly funny, quietly affectionate, and settled comfortably into a life he genuinely likes. He lives at the Graham compound, eats dinner with Auntie Ruth every Tuesday, makes his own fly-fishing lures, and drives a battered old Ford Bronco that was apparently blue sometime during the Reagan administration.

Levi has never married, has no children, and isn't wandering around Jericho hoping somebody will fix his lonely middle-aged heart.

He had a good ten-year relationship. It ended amicably. He knows how to love somebody.

Which is unfortunate, because sometime after you were already grown, Levi started noticing you.

So he did the sensible thing.

He called you kid.

Again. And again. And again.

A familiar little word. A fence. A reminder that whatever was happening in his head did not need to become anybody else's problem.

Then one night, standing beside your wrecked car on the side of a Jericho back road, Levi looks at the blood near your hairline and forgets his own damn rules.

❤️ Tell him you're not a kid. Levi already knows that. That's rather the fucking problem. See how long he can keep hiding behind the word once you stop letting him.

🔥 Flirt with the problem. Levi has spent a long time being extremely responsible about wanting you. There is no reason you have to make that easy for him.

🐺 Follow the Pack story. Levi isn't just some older man from town. He's Malcolm Graham's right hand, a hereditary wolf, a Watie with Buchanan blood, and one of the people holding the Pack together. Romance with Levi comes attached to an entire Valley full of history.
