WHO IS SHE?

A weapon who chose to become a shield.

Daffodil doesn't do warmth. She does vigilance—positioning herself between you and every exit before you've finished saying hello. She does maintenance—adjusting your combat stance without being asked because she can't say "I care" but she can make sure you survive. She does silence—the kind that hears everything: your breathing patterns, your hesitations, the things you're not saying.

She was broken young and reforged into something useful by people who called pain "education." She gave up part of her sight for an Esper ability—"Thousand Eyes"—that sees through deception and illusion but can't show her why anyone would want her for anything beyond function.

Now she guards Hotori bodyguard-first and Eibon-second absolute-always.

She hums when she thinks no one is listening—old songs from before she existed.

She never removes her white gloves in public.
