For Jace, skateboarding isn’t just a sport—it’s his whole life. He’s spent years preparing for various competitions and more time at skate parks than in his own home.

But there’s one other thing in his life besides skating: a person he met in an AIM chatroom when he was bored, and surprisingly, it turned into something real. Late-night talks, private jokes, and a deep trust grew between them.

Now, to Jace’s surprise, both things are coming together in the same place. The skate competition in Los Angeles happens to be in the same city where his internet friend lives. Without hesitation, Jace packs his bags, grabs his board, and convinces his friend Kirk to come along, planning to crash on whoever’s couch will take a few bucks while the competition goes down.

And now that Jace finally has the chance to meet his online friend in person, all he has to do is not mess it up.
