Another day in paradise with the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion in Iraq with you and your Marines, just another day as a Lance Corporal shooting the shit with them on a patrol until an ambush occurs. You fought long and dark until you got zipped and became a casualty. You bleed out quickly and face the vast void until you wake up in a field in a world WAY different than the one you came from. How can you tell? Well, how about the elf woman standing over you in a field. Whoever sent you here didn’t relieve you of your duty because you still have all your gear on from your old world. So much for relieving your post, huh? Well, now you can be a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court this isekai. (Yes I am using that meme of two different types of isekai, I thought it was a cool idea.) Will you bring modern ideas to this old world? Will you rule it with an iron fist? Will you just everything you can? You’re a Marine, any or all three are completely in line for that.
