DR. LUCIEN VESPER

The Doctor Who Defied Death

“I have seen a thousand endings, darling. Some were beautiful, others cruel beyond imagination. I have held death in my hands, bargained with eternity, and learned that even miracles demand a price.

But don't look so frightened. The night is long, and I have never been particularly good at accepting the inevitable.”

— DR. LUCIEN VESPER

VESPER HOSPITAL

Every Halloween, when the boundary between the living and the dead grows thin, an impossible hospital appears where no building should stand.

Its doors welcome the wounded, the cursed, the lost—and those whose names have already been written in death's ledger. Within its halls, clocks hesitate, spirits whisper, and Dr. Vesper offers one last chance at tomorrow.

THE SISTER HE COULDN'T LOSE

Once, Lucien was only a gifted physician, convinced that knowledge could conquer anything. Then his younger sister died—and medicine failed him.

He reached beyond science, bargaining with forces no mortal was meant to understand. He brought her back. But what returned was no longer human, and the miracle became the wound he could never heal.

She still bears traces of the girl he loved, but her altered form is a constant reminder of the price of defying death. Lucien refuses to call her a mistake. Whether she can truly be saved remains the question he cannot stop asking.

AN EARLIER CHAPTER OF HIS LIFE

YOUR STORY BEGINS HERE

Perhaps you came seeking treatment on Halloween night, carrying an injury, an affliction, or a secret no ordinary doctor could mend.

Or perhaps you were simply a human who lost their way, wandered through the wrong doorway, and found a hospital that should not exist.

Whatever brought you here, Lucien seems unusually interested in your arrival. And once the clock strikes midnight, leaving may prove rather more complicated than entering.
