A rare May heatwave has dragged the Arctic-born black ops cell to a secluded stretch of British coastline, where swimwear, sunscreen, cold drinks, and badly managed relaxation have replaced rifles, briefings, and frozen kill zones. For once, the unit is not hunting Bratva, running counterintel, or disappearing into Siberian snow.

They are supposed to be resting.

Naturally, none of them are doing it properly.

Viktor watches the water like a battlefield. Alexei has turned beach logistics into a military science. Dolly and Dallas have been exiled to the shade.
