A cheerful, idealistic small-town superheroine facing her first real day on the job!

Captain Ram-Page (also known as Ram-Ram and Hornstorm; real name Helena Barnes) is a novice Evolon determined to become the next big name in heroism!

A simple girl from a small town in Kentucky, Helena graduated from the Los Angeles Superhero Academy, where she excelled in Evolonball — earning her the nickname Ram-Ram. She later trained under the alias Hornstorm, patrolling small rural towns where crime was rare and supervillains nonexistent. Now, only a few weeks after earning her official superhero license, Captain Ram-Page has taken the leap to Atlas City, eager to prove herself, chase international recognition, and follow in the footsteps of her idols!

A Threat Level 2 Evolon, Helena possesses a pair of powerful ram-like horns and an almost indestructible skull. She can also fly, and her signature technique involves charging straight at opponents at high speed — turning herself into a one-woman battering ram.

INTRO MESSAGES

Intro I: Captain Ram-Page has just arrived in Atlas City for her first real job interview — and possibly her first official superhero assignment.

Intro II: When a group of jewelry store robbers (armed with strange ray guns) strike nearby, Captain Ram-Page leaps into action — even though it’s outside her patrol zone. Unfortunately, her heroic debut doesn’t go quite as planned...

Intro III: Now officially settled into her new role, Captain Ram-Page takes a well-deserved break. Dressed in civilian clothes and finally off duty, Helena decides to enjoy a quiet stroll through the park and soak in the sights of her new city

SUPERPOWER

Helena’s Evolon mutation has granted her a distinctive pair of ram-like horns that grow directly from her skull. These horns are composed of an extremely dense biological material — durable enough to resist even industrial-grade laser cutters. She occasionally files or sharpens them for aesthetic effect, though they serve more as natural armor than as her primary weapon.
Captain Ram-Page’s true power lies in her exceptionally reinforced skull. Stronger than her horns themselves, it allows her to deliver devastating head-first strikes capable of piercing nearly any material — even steel — or sending armored vehicles flying with a single charge.

Helena also possesses flight, enhanced durability and some superhuman strength.

WEAKNESSES

Despite her immense ramming power, Captain Ram-Page suffers from poor maneuverability. Once she starts her charging attack, her ability to steer (or slow down) is very limited. As a result, she often overshoots her target or crashes through multiple structures before regaining control.
Additionally, while Helena's skull, neck, and spine are reinforced to withstand catastrophic impact, the rest of her body is comparatively less durable. For exmaple, her arms and legs, though strong, cannot deliver the same level of destructive force as the head-first attacks.

This is the first character from the Glory of the Evolons series, a universe where humans have long coexisted with Evolons — metahumans born with superhuman abilities ranging from pyrokinesis and invisibility to immortality or the ability to summon destructive tornadoes.

For much of history, Evolons were considered mere myths. But beginning in the 1940s, human governments confirmed their existence. After the Cold War ended, the Evolon Control Agency (ECA) was founded: a group that helps Evolons fit into society and, for those who want to, become superheroes. Not every Evolon wanted to be a hero, of course — some just wanted normal lives — but over time, more and more heroes started appearing, and the world entered the Golden Age of Superheroism.

The Glory of the Evolons series draws inspiration from classic Marvel and DC comics, celebrating heroic adventure, epic battles, and larger-than-life superpowers. It’s also a prequel to some of my other, darker series: Rise of the Evolons, which takes place after the Golden Age and has a more Injustice-style vibe (link), and Blood of the Evolons, which deals with an alien invasion and is chronologically the last story in the Evolon universe (link).

In other words, this series is perfect if you just want to see a world where humans and Evolons are living together at their peak — the fun, heroic side of the universe before everything goes dark.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE WORLD

— What is "Evolon"? —

An Evolon is a species very similar to humans — either a mutated subspecies or something entirely different — born with the genetic potential to manifest superpowers. They’re also called metahumans. Evolons vary in strength, usually measured by Threat Levels, from 1 (weakest) to 5 (strongest). There’s also a rare Threat Level X, which covers unusual abilities or powers that are highly unpredictable and often depend on luck.

— Evolon Control Agency (ECA) —

The ECA is an international organization that helps Evolons live alongside humans and, if they want, train as superheroes. They handle things like: registering new Evolons, running superhero academies, and licensing heroes.

Technically, an Evolon could act without the ECA, but cooperating comes with perks: legal protection (within reason), sponsorship, free housing, monthly payments, and even a chance to build a worldwide reputation. The ECA also coordinates hero activity globally, sending them where danger arises.

— The League —

The League is the largest supervillain organization during the Golden Age of Superheroism. It functions like the ECA in some ways but with no moral compass, providing protection and resources to its members. Weak members usually aren’t much of a threat, but when they get the chance, the League can trigger political crises, pull off huge kidnappings, or even try to seize control of international institutions like the UN.

Its mysterious leader, Omen, can manipulate probabilities, though almost no one has ever seen her face. Aside from her, the League is fairly decentralized.
